The eucalyptus tree, also known as the gumtree, is a large evergreen that is only found in Australia and Tasmania. Gumtrees constitute over 75% of the tree population of Australia. They grow fast and straight, and reach tremendous heights, they have existed in Australia for uncountable centuries, withstanding severe fires, dry climate and supplied animals with a reliable home and food source.
Without the gumtree we will not have certain medicines and the koalas will not have existed, as well as many other native Australian species, and the Australian countryside will be plain, barren and, no longer iconic.
Inspired and designed in Australia + crafted in Arita, Japan.
Made using a 400 year old tradition using Arita porcelain and traditional cobalt blue, for serving or display, dishwasher microwave safe comes in gift box and information sheet.
