The instillations and video works that Judith Wright developed over the 1990’s form the substance of this book. These works explore and contemplate aspects of the interior and the private.
Wright’s previous career was as a dancer with The Australian Ballet. As a visual artist the performative gesture continued and is integral to much of her work, influencing the aesthetic and extending the relationship between object and performance.
