Cj Hendry

Cj Hendry's Pink Chairs now have a permanent home at State Library of Queensland. Part of the renowned contemporary artist's 'Inflatable' series, they have appeared as temporary installations in New York and Venice, but now call Brisbane home – the place Cj grew up.

Pink Chairs is an experiment in weight and scale by subverting the idea of the usually light and impermanent inflatable chair (the two chairs are in fact made from brass and weigh 130kg each!).
